Shortfilm programme at Sámi Easter Festival 2025
OanehisČinu is a brand new addition to the Easter Festival in Kautokeino - an evening dedicated
to Sámi short films and short documentaries. Here you get the opportunity to experience
exciting stories told by Sámi filmmakers, right in the heart of our local community.
The audience can look forward to a varied program of film screenings, talks with filmmakers
and a pleasant café during the break. Whether you're young or old, film lover or curious, this is
an evening you don't want to miss!

Oahpes Bahá
We are taken into the thoughts of 17-year-old Elli Anne from Karasjok as hopes and dreams
are put to the test. In Oahpe's Bahá, a dissonance is explored between the depiction of the

As a 14-year-old snowcross rider, we follow Čan Martin from Kautokeino as he takes on the
